Q: When will my products ship out?

A: We are a small side business that is just starting out on our path. We strive to give you the freshest products, meaning they are created in small batches, or made when ordered. All orders received during the week will be hand crafted and packaged by us. They will then be shipped out the following Wednesday. We sincerely appreciate your understanding in this.

Q: Are these products ok for sensitive skin?

A: Yes! All products are made with natural butters that help to soothe, hydrate and heal skin. All products are only scented with essential oils, not fragrance oils that can lead to skin irritation.

* Please note that some people do have extremely sensitive skin. While our products are all natural, we all have different skin that can react differently to certain products.  

 

Q: What are the ingredients?

A: All products are made with natural quality ingredients and lightly scented with essential oils. Simple, natural, and understandable. Each product page lists the ingredients and their benefits. What is listed is exactly what is in the product – nothing else, no added fillers or chemicals.

 

Q: Can the product containers be recycled?

A:  All products come in recyclable non-plastic containers, labels are created from recycled materials and boxed in eco-friendly compostable packing. Head over to our packaging section for the full story!

Q: Do I need a wooden spatula applicator?

A: It’s up to you! Some people prefer an applicator, rather then using their fingers to get out the product. We give you the option to receive one with your products or not. If you already have one and do not need another just yet, choose not to receive one. Either way, they are made from wood and not plastic so you will not be contributing to plastic waste!

Q: How much product should I apply?

A: A very small amount goes a long way! Our products are concentrated - we only use quality oils and butters in our lotions, creating a rich product that you get way more out of. No water! Warm a small amount in-between your fingers prior to applying to help stretch it even further.

Q: What parts of my body can I use the body butters on?

A: While we offer products that target to specific issues to different parts of the body, the body butters can be used all over. The concentration of vitamins and moisturizing benefits they offer is beneficial to any part of the skin!

 

Q: How much fragrance do these products contain?

A: No fragrance! All products are naturally scented with only essential oils. While synthetic fragrances do smell more powerful, they are cheap and contain many chemical properties. Essential oils are natural and offer many benefits than synthetic fragrances cannot. We chose quality over smell for a product that will be better for you and your skin!

 

Q: Does the mango butter smell like mangos?

A: No. Mango butter is made from the mango kernel rather than from the fruit and does not have any type of mango smell. The scents of the lotions are purely derived from essential oils.

 

Q: How do I apply the lotions/creams/butters?

A: All products are concentrated and not watered down – and this makes them go a long way! Take a small amount and rub between your fingers to warm the butters and oils, making them spread easier and further. Eye creams should be warmed and patted around your eyes in a circle for the best application.

 

Q: What is the shelf life?

A: All products are made in small batch orders, meaning you are not purchasing a product that has been sitting on the shelf for a year already. If you use your product frequently and don’t let it sit for years, you should have no concern about them going bad. Keeping in your bathroom or bedroom is totally fine!

 

Q: Should these be kept refrigerated?  

A: Refrigeration of cosmetic products can help to extend the shelf life, but not dramatically. All orders are made in small batches, so you receive a fresh product. If you use your products frequently, there is no need to keep them refrigerated. Some people enjoy the refreshing quality of a chilled lotion, so it’s totally up to you to refrigerate! However, please note that our products are made with concentrated oils and butters. There are no fillers watering them down, so they will become hard when chilled. Just take out of the fridge about 10-15 minutes or warm between you fingers and your good to go!

 

Q: I left my product in the heat and it became somewhat melted. Is it ruined?

A: Nope, not ruined! Our products only contain natural butters and oils. Meaning there are not fillers or water to keep them from melting when hot or solidifying when chilled. Keeping your product at room temperate is completely fine, and the most common way to store them. If the product is exposed to heat and becomes a little melted, stick it in the fridge for a bit and it will be just fine.

Q: What if I live locally, in Saint Petersburg, FL? Do I still have to pay for shipping?

A: It’s up to you! We are more than happy to schedule a meet up in the area to deliver your products, free of shipping charges! We do request the meet up be in some area of St. Petersburg. If you live in Tampa / Clearwater / Sarasota / etc., we are more than happy to meet up when you are in St. Pete!

  • If you prefer to have your products shipped, then please select the shipping fee when checking out.

Q: Do you recycle / reuse old containers?

A: Yes! Since our products are packaged in reusable containers, we will schedule a meet up to take the containers. All will be thoroughly sanitized to be repackaged. Return your containers for refill and receive a 10% discount on your next order!

Q: Do you sell your products in any local shops?

A: Not yet, but please follow us as we are just starting out. We do plan on selling in some local stores in the near future!
